The daycare environment, while well managed is a busy environment. Dogs over the age of 10 or with morbidities can face additional risks due to stress associated with a new environment. -
Do we allow "dog birthday parties" on site?
Unfortunately not. As fun as they may seem, the extra excitement, external service providers (party planners) and sharing of treats can lead to aggression, jealousy and fights. Our aim is to ensure a safe and calm environment which is difficult to achieve with a “party” on site.
-
Can you bring treats to daycare to celebrate your dogs birthday?
While we are happy for clients to bring treats on their dogs birthday, we can not give them out to other dogs freely without the consent from the owners of the other dogs in our care. Some dogs have very specific dietry requirements, may have allergies to certain foods or may have digestive issues. What we can do is take photos of your birthday pup with their treats and at collection time ask clients if they are happy for us to give a treat to their dog or for the client to take it home with them.
-
Do boarding prices increase over peak seasons?
Yes they do. As the demand for boarding over festive and holiday periods increases so to do the prices for that given period. Daycare prices do not change. The price increases are only relevant to boarding and we will have very specific dates in which the increase is applicable.
